Teardrop Butterfly, Chaetodon interrupta
The Tear Drop Butterflyfish is a beautiful fish originating from the reefs of the Indo Pacific. They have a white base becoming yellow dorsally and on the median fins. It has a large black eyespot on its upper side and a black bar through the eyes. A black vertical stripe is also present at the posterior end. These are very colourful fish that are well suited for a larger fish only aquarium. The Tear Drop Butterflyfish may reside in a reef environment with other butterflyfish but will eat different invertebrates present in the tank.
