African Clown (Amphiprion allardi) - The African clown with its body dark brown to black with two vertical bluish white bars, a pale whitish tail fin, and the other fins are orange.
The Allard's Clarkii Clownfish has a brownish orange base colour with white stripes and an deep tan coat when full grown. The juvenile Allard's Clarkii Clownfish are yellowish orange in colour with white stripes on each side of the body similar to the Clarkii Clownfish.
The female will be the largest of the pair, and two fish will usually stay close to each other in the aquarium.
Allard's Clarkii Clownfish do well in an aquarium containing almost any anemone type, In nature they are found to host Bubble Tip Anemones, Aurora Anemones and Carpet Anemones. It is semi-aggressive towards other clownfish and passive tank mates.
These fish typically tend to grow to 5.5" in length and are easy to maintain.
